What is I Create Namibia

ICN is a series of creative workshop events that we’ve been hosting since 2017.

The creative workshops aim to teach and act as a networking hub for attendees.

“I Create Namibia” from inception has been a platform set out to educate, inform, inspire and motivation Namibian creatives on the creative economy and how to contribute to it.

Thus the workshops run along the lines of teaching creatives on how to run their businesses, from finance knowledge to business etiquette and so forth.

I Create Namibia started out as an annual event, having hosted our first in June 2017 with JMAC and the next one in 2018 with the Start-Up Festival.

In 2020 we decided to make it a monthly event due to the demand of the platform, with Goethe-Institut Namibia as our venue partner. However, due to the pandemic we put a halt to the series after two workshops.

We resumed in March of 2022 with a workshop on Taxes and all that stuff, followed “Loans, Grants and Funds” in April.
